About CarbiCrete

CarbiCrete is a Montreal-based carbon removal technology company whose patented technology enables the production of cement-free, carbon-negative concrete.

The process replaces cement with steel slag, an industrial by-product, avoiding the emissions that are associated with cement production, while also trapping CO2 inside the concrete permanently.

CarbiCrete solves three problems while producing a valuable construction product: it permanently removes CO2, eliminates the need for cement and makes use of industrial waste.

CarbiCrete is licensing its technology to precast concrete makers and selling the carbon credits generated by its fully carbon-negative process. The company’s mission is 1 GT of carbon-negative concrete by 2030.


Reporting to the CMO with a dotted line to the acting Head of Business Development, you will be:

  • Developing and communicating revenue targets to management, and individual sales goals to the sales team
  • Giving detailed presentations on proposals and analyzing their effects upon implementation
  • Continued refinement and development of the in-house sales process
  • Creating good rapport with customers to develop and maintain trustworthiness
  • Motivating and inspiring employees to meet sales targets that match the company’s goals
  • Training and orienting new hires
  • Establishing daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly targets to act as a guideline that enables measurement of individual and group performance
  • Analyzing market trends and advising management on necessary action plans
  • Developing and implementing strategic plans for actualizing sales targets
  • Providing regular detailed sales reports


  • 7-10 years of sales experience in concrete, manufacturing or industrial automation
  • Bachelor’s degree in business or engineering
  • Superb verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent negotiation skills
  • Ability to set attainable goals for sales employees, and following up to ensure these are achieved
  • High commitment to regularly monitoring sales based on company-imposed regulations and goals
  • Ability to lead their team, solving any arising problems, and motivating and inspiring team members
  • Proven excellence in the method of selling and launching products or services will be considered highly valuable asset
  • Ability to travel
  • Fluently bilingual (English and French)
